What These Tools Can—and Cannot—Do
They can identify patterns
A tool can count words, compare terminology, flag vague phrases, structure an accomplishment, and organize interview practice.
They cannot make the hiring decision
No checker can know every employer's process, candidate pool, internal priorities, or recruiter judgment.
They should not invent experience
Use the suggestions to present work you actually performed. Never add a skill, result, credential, or responsibility you cannot support.
Why there is no universal ATS score: applicant tracking systems differ by employer and configuration. A transparent list of strengths and risks is more useful than pretending one number predicts whether a recruiter will contact you.
